The 8 hour surgery has now turned into a 14 hour surgery. The Doc just came out and chatted with us for awhile. Lily is doing just fine through this all. But it will be another few hours from now. She had a little damage to her bladder and ureters from all the infections she's had for the last year and a half. So because of that, they were very careful and had to do a few extra steps. But the outcome has not changed, it's just taking longer.
Thats the update for now.

Laura, I'm so glad you are keeping a blog about Lily's journey. You are one strong mama and I get all teary and emotional empathizing with all the heartache you have to go through, watching your baby girl endure all of this, in order to reach the other end of her long journey. Hugs to you...
