Leaving tomorrow . . .

Tomorrow morning we make our journey east.  Man did the last 3 weeks fly by!  The last few days especially, I have barely had time to eat- which I usually ALWAYS make time for. So yeah, it's been overwhelming to say the least.  And I neglected my house all week, so I've been cleaning and organizing all weekend.  I'm not just packing for a trip, I'm practically moving there. So packing has been a challenge, and I most certainly have over-packed.  Better to be prepared right!?  Not only do I hate cold weather, but I don't even have the right wardrobe for it.  The weather is said to be tempermental, and go from low 60s to mid 40s while I'm there.  awesome.

Lily packed up her entire room practically.  She has an entire carry on suitcase dedicated to her stuffed animals, American girl doll, and who knows what else she has stuffed into it. But she needs to bring it. So I'm ok with it. I want her to feel a little bit of home is there with us, and also have stuff to play with when we get bored.

Tomorrow also starts her bowel clean out schedule. This is gonna be tough. While flying across country, from noon on she can only have liquids. Juice, Gatorade, jello and that's pretty much it. Im really not sure how we will pull this off. She has to stay on liquids until noon on Tuesday when we check into the hospital. And she's gonna be pooping a lot! And so it begins. Not getting out of any of this the easy way!
