So we passed our 1 week mark yesterday. Wow, we still have a long time here! Life around the hospital is pretty interesting. I see people from all over the world here, mainly because there are so many specialty surgeons here. Like yesterday, I rode the elevator with an Amish couple. I hear accents from everywhere, see some interesting hairdos, and way too many tank tops on guys for my taste!
Also, this is like a city of doctors. I usually take a walk around the hospital daily, and I see white coats everywhere. It's usually the main surgeon with all his little residents following him. I feel like I am on the set of Grey's Anatomy. I keep waiting for Meredith or McSteamy to walk around the corner. I'm learning a lot of medical lingo, my sister will be so proud. I never thought I would have to know all this stuff, but it still doesn't make me want to be a nurse someday. Too sad, especially in peds!!
Lily is doing fantastic! Our surgeon comes by everyday to check on her, and he's in love with Lily! She's a favorite around here! I love my little Lily lou!

well hello how can she not be the favorite! :) I am so glad you are doing good and Lily too! How did you get to Walmart the other day...did you walk or do you have a car out there?
I'm willing to bet that generally the staff doesn't no LOOK like the cast of Grey's though! Definitely not like McSteamy! And if they DO...well, lucky you! :-)
I am so excited I got to talk to you. I miss you. I bet the nurses love talking to you. You should try to sneak some pics of the tank tops! haha!
What's not to love? I am not surprised that she is a favorite!!! Lily is adorable! I am sure you are counting down the days until Benny brings the boys!
