Got Milk
This morning I finally got to feed Lily! IT was wonderful for both us. Of course they tried to give her a bottle first and she wanted nothing to do with it. So my doctor said to climb on up there next to her and feed her. Well, it went great, and she now has a full belly of milk! She is really thriving and doing so well. She is now awake a lot, but still sort of drugged up. She hangs out and watches Baby Einstein when she's awake. I brought in her toys and blankets so she can have something to chew on. Her incision is healing up so fantastically. She looks like a normal little girl now, which is sooooo exciting for me. Also, he made her an awesome belly button in the right spot! Every time they make rounds, you want to hear them say "we're happy", and they say it every time. So we are doing pretty good! The days are starting to blend together. Still have a long time to go which can be discouraging when I think about it, but I'm counting the days when the boys get to come and visit. 9 more days!

I'm so glad she is doing so well! You are such a trooper Laura! What a great mom you are! Benny seems to be doing well with the boys. I think he is realizing how hard our job really is. I saw him in the hall the other day at church with Dal! I told him that Lily is Connor Jr. with dark hair. She is adorable! Love ya~ xoxo
Laura you sound so great. I am glad you were able to feed Lil and connect with her. Each day sounds like it is getting easier and better which is wonderful! It will be fun to have the boys out there soon! I love you.
Cool, Lily will look hot in a bikini with her cute belly button :-) Funny how that little belly button will forever represent something so big!
Laura, I was happy to read that Lily is doing good today, and that you were able to feed her! Love ya both!
WOW, that is so great! I am so glad that Lily is aware and able to enjoy having you there. I'm so glad you got to feed her, too. I'm sure that was comforting for both of you. Such great news about her incision. I bet that is such a huge relief. I wanted to call you today, but we had a pretty crazy play-date that didn't free me up at all. I'll call ya tomorrow. All signed up for soccer and it went fine. I can't wait. I miss you!!!
Laura I have been thinking about you guys constantly. I am so glad it is getting better each day and that you got to feed her! Love ya and hang in there
I am so glad for you Laura!! What a great thing for you to be able to do that! I am so happy to hear that you and Lily are in such good hands! I am sure the boys are excited to see you!!
I'm so glad for all this good news! Thank you for the update. I'm glad you are holding up. Take good care!
