Saying Goodbye

We got to leave the hospital yesterday! We are still across the street at the Children's House and need to stay a few more days. We have an appointment on Monday and then we fly home on Tuesday. I really didn't think I would miss this place at all, but I feel a little sad to be leaving. This hospital is all I've known now for 7 seven weeks and I've got a pit in my stomach about leaving now. Of course I can't wait to get home and see my family and friends, but it's a little bittersweet. I will miss some of the great people that I have met here. All the wonderful nurses and doctors who took such wonderful care of us. I have met people that I will never forget, and have helped me understand so much of what Lily will go through. It's like I've been at summer camp and have to say good bye now. I'm also a little overwhelmed with what I'll be jumping back into when I get home. Things have been moving very slow for me here, and I've had someone doing most of the work for Lily. And you all know that my life at home is NOT slow. I plan on keeping it as mellow as I can for a little while. Lily is still going to require extra care since we are on a strict medicine schedule and her legs need to be wrapped together for 2 weeks. Eventually I'll get back into the swing of things! I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted of all the awesome nurses we've had, but here are a few . . .Our nurse Cat
On our way out, with Corrin, Melissa, and Barb

So sad that I didn't get any pictures with Hillary, Pam, Caryn, Jen, Kim, and so many others. Thank you all!!!!
