I don't know that I have a specific story about laura but I just think she is just the best mom and the sweetest women. She's just a great example to me and I hope I can be as wonderful as her one day!

Where do I begin?! Laura, you have always been my long lost soul sister! When Benny married you, I instantly felt like I found someone who would be there to back me up in the face of the Ek men. You are feisty and strong and also gentle and loving and I love you for all of those reasons and many many more!! My favorite memory of you is when you came to Utah for my wedding and you were there for me and made me look beautiful and feel calm when I was really scared and nervous. That day was so much more special because you were there to support me and I will never forget it! I love you and you have become such an amazing woman...I'm proud to be your sister! ;-)
Happy Happy Birthday Laura! I hope you have a fantastic day. I don't know you very well, but I remember being so impressed with you as I watched you take care of Lily in Baltimore. You had such a peaceful spirit about you, amidst the turmoil and stress you were really going through. What an amazing woman you are! I look forward to getting to know you better.

That picture of Laura when she is Lily's age looks JUST like Lily. Twinners!!! I also really enjoyed the pic of her making pancakes or something cause that is the Laura I first met back in the days at UVSC!!! One of my fav L stories is that before I knew her well our great friend, Hillary, told me that Laura was the coolest girl and if she was gay she would want Laura to be her girlfriend! I laughed cause that was the funniest thing to say, but I can honestly say that after now knowing her well for the past 10 yrs I TOTALLY understand what Hillary meant. Laura, you are just the coolest, most down to earth, genuine, caring, lovely, beautiful-but don't act like you know it, true friend in the world!!! I feel so lucky to know you. Oh my gosh, I never realized how much ALL of your kids look like you Laura, wow! You're such a beautiful person---inside and out. I love being around you, you have such a calming effect while at the same time being so engaging and fun. I also never ever hear you complain...you have such a loving and positive spirit. I just have always admired how put together Laura always is. And she has really good hair. She is always so cool and collected, something with 3 kids I don't think I'd be!
