Lily has been on the verge of walking for weeks now. There was something she seemed to be waiting for. Whatever it was she found it. Last week she was with her cousins and watching them run around playing. It inspired her because without coaxing she just got up and started walking.
Ever since then, she loves it. She would rather walk than crawl anytime. It's pretty fun to see her make this big step after all she has gone though the past year. She certainly doesn't know that she was supposed to be delayed in walking because of the trauma her body has been through. She's a tough cookie. we couldn't stop her if we tried. WE LOVE HER!
Here is a video of her first steps last week. She's a pro now but it was fun to see the excitement in her face as she was cheered on by 15 people :-)

She is quite the quick learner, too. I was amazed at how she just figured it out and that was it! She is so sturdy so quick! I love that little Lily and we are so proud of her!
Congrats Lily! I can't believe how beautiful she is. Laura she looks just like you with dark hair.
